Children going into Pre-K or Kindergarten
Kindergarten Cafe

Kindergarten Cafe
Preparing for school is about more than ABCs and 123s—it’s about building confidence, fostering friendships, and learning life skills that help children thrive in a group setting. Kindergarten Café is the perfect opportunity for children gearing up for pre-k or kindergarten to practice essential social and mealtime skills in a fun and supportive environment.
At Kindergarten Café, children gather around the table to experience a mock lunch environment where they’ll:
Practice sitting together and engaging in meaningful conversations, developing strong communication skills.
Learn to take turns, share, and navigate social dynamics with peers.
Build independence with cleanup routines and table responsibilities, fostering accountability and care for their environment.
Each session also includes supervised free play, giving children a chance to connect through unstructured activities that inspire creativity and collaboration.

Why is this important?
Studies show that social and emotional development during the preschool years is critical for long-term success, as children who learn cooperation and self-regulation early are better prepared for the structured environment of school. By practicing these skills in a playful setting, your child will gain the tools they need to approach mealtimes—and friendships—with confidence.
Each session also includes supervised free play, giving children a chance to connect through unstructured activities that inspire creativity and collaboration.
